The 2017 Canadian International AutoShow (Feb. 17-26) will feature two Nissans that were hits at the recent auto show in Detroit
Making its Canadian debut will be the V-motion 2.0 Concept that signals the brand’s sedan design direction and Intelligent Mobility technology.
Also seeing its regional unveiling is the 2017 Qashqai compact CUV that is designed to slot in just under the popular Nissan Rogue.
At the recent North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the V-Motion was named winner of the 2017 EyesOn Design Award for Best Concept Vehicle.
The concept vehicle also received the award for Best Innovative Use of Color, Graphics and Materials.
The announcement was made at the 2017 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) EyesOn Design Awards ceremony, just a day after the vehicle’s global debut.
The V-motion’s award-winning vehicle colour, Silver Copper, is a unique blend of copper and other metals, creating a layered effect with different hues and reflections in different angles.
The Nissan V-motion 2.0 Concept features Nissan Intelligent Driving, one of three core elements of Nissan Intelligent Mobility.
Nissan Intelligent Driving helps provide a safe and comfortable driving experience through technology such as ProPILOT, which is envisioned to ultimately allow the vehicle to drive in autonomous mode – not just on the highway and in heavy traffic conditions – but also on urban roads with intersections.
The 2017 Nissan Qashqai is designed to appeal to buyers looking for more space than a compact sedan, while still seeking the maneuverability and fun-to-drive feel, the Qashqai serves to fill an obvious gap that exists in the compact SUV segment.
